  33.   I have been taking the stance that NewTek hold the line on price for
  34.  a long time. many others seemed to think NewTek had to raise prices
  35.  to  support the plugin market. Well looks like they get their wish. 
  36.  It also appears you will be seriously ticked off. At todays list,
  37.  before increases your looking at $330.00. So I guess you may be
  38.  very seriously ticked off. They feel the need to raise the price
  39.  ok, but current owners of 4.0 have already invested in the software.
  40.  At this point I assume the 1/3 price will cover the full increase
  41.  in price. Of course as I don't use LW to make a living it will be
  42.  awhile before I can justify a large upgrade. It will be interesting
  43.  to see how the pricing structure works.

  52.  I use 4.0 Amiga but keep 3.5 online just in case. I wonder if ALL the
  53.  upgrades will be available at the same time. I'd hate to think Amiga
  54.  users will have to wait a year while Mac users are using 5.0(if rumor
  55.  is confirmed).
